Laboratory Trainee

Drymix Ltd, a member of the UBP Group, is offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic Lab Trainee to join its team on a temporary basis (one year).

 This role is ideal for recent graduates or junior professionals looking to gain hands‑on experience in a laboratory and quality environment.

Key Responsibilities

 As a Lab Trainee, you will be exposed to a wide range of laboratory and quality activities, including:

•  Assisting and reviewing Quality and Laboratory Management Systems.
• Assisting in the review and update of procedures and training materials.
• Assisting in the management of laboratory documentation, reports, and quality data.
• Supporting the monitoring of laboratory equipment and consumables.
• Taking part in the implementation of 6S practices to maintain an organised and compliant laboratory.
• Supporting training initiatives and promoting quality awareness across the team.
• Working in line with Health & Safety standards and actively participating in the S3 Programme.

 Profile

• BEng in Chemical Engineering or equivalent qualification
• Comfortable with basic IT tools
• Willing to learn, well‑organised, and respectful of procedures
• Accurate and attentive, with an eye for detail
• Able to stay focused and deliver precise work
