Kids Entertainer

Interact with/supervise/provide safe environment for children ages 3-12.

Job Summary:

Set-up/Clean-up/Carryout/Assist with facilitated activities. Be able to spontaneously entertain children in absence of planned activity and assist children with any requirements they have in the Club One Kids Club. Oversee the arrival and departure area of the Kids Club, ensuring all children are checked in and out or the Kids Club according to resort standards and all respective information is provided to the adult/parent with the child. Have at least 2 years recent experience leading large groups of children in a recreation/camp setting and have a passion for engaging children in entertaining activities. 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Be fully trained and educated in handling children of ages 3-12 ensuring that children are attended to in a correct manner as per resort standards.
• Carry out and assist in games and activities in the Kids Club.
• Be trained in handling children first aid and how to handle incidents, accidents or other emergencies.
• Be fully trained on Kids Club systems ensuring all children are checked in and checked out of the club as per resort standards, making certain that the system and technology is operating properly.
• Attend to all children always checked in to the Kids Club as per resort standard policies and procedures.
• To ensure the reception area is prepared, well-kept and organized in an orderly fashion as per resort standards.
• Attend to duty on time in the proper uniform well groomed as scheduled.
• Assist children in meal periods in the designated restaurant as per schedule.
• Have thorough knowledge of all toys, games, and activities available in the Kids Club.
• Have thorough knowledge of the Kids Club daily and weekly activities, schedules, theme’s and packages.

• Have thorough knowledge of all children friendly areas and activities around the resort and the water park to assist with any requests.
• Carry out theme parties and other special activities.
• Attend daily briefings held by the Supervisor Kids Club at the beginning of each shift.
• Report any odd behaviours by any child immediately to the manager.
• Carry out any other job-related tasks when required by the resort.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule as per resort/departmental requirements.

 About You:

The ideal candidate should have at least a school certificate or high school. The candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in the same role in an International Ultra-Luxury Resort and must be fluent in written and spoken English and French. The candidate should have attended a first aid training.
