Junior IT Officer

Business Data Integrator Ltd (BDI), part of the Swiss multinational Probus Pleion Holding SA, based in Mauritius is seeking a Junior IT Officer professional to join our growing IT team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for technology and a commitment to delivering outstanding support services.

As a Junior IT Officer, you'll be the first line of assistance for internal and external IT issues, ensuring seamless operation of hardware, software, and user systems.

Reporting to the department’s Team Leader, you will work closely with the IT Support team to ensure business productivity and efficiency.

What you will do:

• Respond to and manage IT support tickets within agreed timeframes.
• Set up and configure workstations, software, printers, and scanners.
• Provide technical support via phone, email, or in-person.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software issues; replace faulty components where necessary.
• Assist with user account setup, system onboarding, and IT induction sessions for new staff.
• Maintain procedural documentation and generate relevant reports.
• Collaborate on IT projects and support system rollouts.
• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues and external partners.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

What we are looking for:

• Degree in Information Technology  or a related field.
• 1 year of experience in a similar IT support role.

Location: Quatre Bornes (with willingness to relocate to Grand Baie office when required)
