The Governance & Compliance Junior Analyst is responsible for conducting data and project governance and budget management to ensure the effectiveness of IT processes, projects, budget management, and IT procurement.

 

Purpose

The Governance & Compliance Junior Analyst is responsible for conducting data and project governance and budget management to ensure the effectiveness of IT processes, projects, budget management, and IT procurement. 

Responsibilities 

Supplier Management

  • Owns and manages supplier relationships where assigned, focusing on increased collaboration, cost optimization, risk mitigation, and process improvements
  • Performs Supplier Risk Assessments to ensure suppliers are complying per AGI’s standards

Finance Management

  • Assist D&T leadership in setting up IT’s budget files (annual budget, monthly reports to Finance team, quarterly reports, and ad hoc status reports)
  • Maintains, monitor and reports on OPEX and CAPEX targets to ensure IT department is remaining on target
  • Find and suggest opportunities for savings as well as flag risks for review and discussion with the appropriate parties

Projects

  • Partners with stakeholders to accomplish project effectiveness, efficiency, confidentiality, progress, accountability, governance, risk and compliance, and effective usage of budget
  • Ensures that documentation relating to the project plan, risks, schedule, scope, and budget are in place and reviewed regularly
  • Tracks project progress at regular intervals with focus on performance and quality of the project

Project Management Office

  • Maintain PMO database and ensure accurate and relevant project information is captured and maintained.
  • Maintain Project Portfolio Dashboards and oversee Reporting of Portfolio, Programs and Projects
  • Analyse the project management, change management and validation processes and documentation to identify duplication, wastage and design process improvements.
  • Align identified process improvements with IT Leadership and project management team.
  • Implement, maintain and continuously improve the identified process improvements to mature the PMO and project management practices.
  • Align identified lean project database tool with IT Leadership and project management team.
  • Implement, maintain and continuously improve the identified lean project database tool to mature the PMO and project management practices
Requirements
  • 1-2years experience working in a business-facing role
  • IT Finance experience will be an advantage
  • Procurement experience will be an advantage
  • GxP relevant experience will be an advantage
