Junior Engineer (PV)

We are looking for a dynamic Junior Engineer to assist in the design, analysis, and implementation of photovoltaic (solar) systems.

Job Profile

We are looking for a dynamic Junior Engineer to assist in the design, analysis, and implementation of photovoltaic (solar) systems.

Role & Responsibilities

• Support in the design and layout of solar PV systems using tools such as AutoCAD and PVsyst.
• Assist in conducting site assessments and feasibility studies.
• Assist in the preparation of technical documentation including drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Coordinate with procurement, construction, and project teams to ensure design feasibility and compliance.
• Contribute to project commissioning and post-installation performance evaluation.
• Support Project Engineers with their daily responsibilities.
• Any other cognate duties may be assigned by the Head of Department.

Qualifications & Experience

• A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a similar position will be an advantage.

Knowledge, Skills & Attitude

• Good knowledge of engineering concepts.
• Proficiency in CAD and PV modeling software is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in both English and French.
• Ability to perform energy production simulations and shade analysis.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good time management and organisational skills.
• Holder of a valid driving licence.
