The primary purpose of the Junior Associate - Talent Acquisition internally known as Candidate Experience Representative is to work closely with the Talent Acquisition team to deliver the Global Talent Acquisition (TA) Strategy and deliver an outstanding candidate experience to all applicants processed. The CER will proactively develop a steady and robust Candidate pipeline for the various roles in the

region.

Responsibilities (how we will measure success)

  • Ensures excellent candidate experience throughout their application journey, providing immediate feedback regarding inquiries and the status of their application.
  • Conducts sourcing for open requisitions and candidate screening
  • Manages the interviews of hiring managers, candidates, and recruiters for the jurisdiction s/he is supporting
  • Does administrative functions to ensure onboarding of successful candidates

Tasks

Candidate Sourcing and Screening

  • Creates requisitions in Application Tracking System
  • Posting job ads for vacancies
  • Proactively sourcing candidates through available sourcing channels (Linkedin in-mails, Boolean search)
  • Regularly engage with employees to provide the status of their referrals and to increase employee participation in the IQEQ referral program.
  • Conduct candidate screening by doing resume review and phone and/or video interviews

Interview Scheduling

  • Book qualified candidates to the necessary screening assessments
  • Coordinates with stakeholders in identifying open schedules for interview Candidate Management
  • Provide real time update of the candidate status in the hiring process
  • Candidate correspondence (providing updates of their application status, instructions on interview schedules, etc)
  • Ensures accurate and up to date information of the Applicant Tracking System.

Job offer extension and Pre-boarding Activities

  • Job Offer generation and extension of employment contract to new hires
  • Collaborates with HR and workforce team for position ID generation and allocation
  • Endorse new hires to the Background Check vendor and Pre-employment Medical Examination (PEME)
  • Pre-employment requirements collection
  • Uploads the requirements in the proper repository
  • Coordinates with candidates and stakeholders to ensure on-time onboarding of all new hires
  • Sends weekly onboarding instructions to all new hires (email and SMS blasts)
  • All ad hoc activities to complete onboarding

Reporting Functions

  • Sends recruitment updates to all key stakeholders
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of reportorial requirements

Other 

  • May undertake any additional tasks and/or responsibilities as part of their professional
  • development which may or may not be related to their specific function.
  • Escalates any other work-related issues and concerns to the appropriate authorities in a timely manner.

Qualifications

Education / professional qualifications

  • Bachelor’s level degree required; preferred fields of study include: Human Resources, Marketing, Psychology or related field.

Background experience

  • Fresh Graduate with relevant experience during on the job training
  • Ability to craft professionally persuasive messages to attract both passive and active Candidates to IQ EQ.
  • Demonstrate capability to extract contact information quickly and efficiently.

Technical

  • Above average verbal and written communications skills

Computer / program knowledge

  • Experience in working with computer applications like Applicant Tracking Systems, Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the likes.
