Member of the Finance Team, the Internal Control Officer will be driving accuracy and control in LFL’s inventory management, while contributing to smooth operations, minimizing losses, and enhancing efficiency across the entire value chain.

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of stock accuracy through regular counts and reconciliations

• Ensure real-time alignment between physical stock and the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP system)

• Investigate discrepancies and turn data into actionable insights

• Monitor inventory across raw materials, finished goods and spare parts

• Validate production outputs and material consumption

• Deliver clear and insightful reports such as variance analysis and stock ageing

• Identify losses (spillage, wastage) and drive improvements

• Play a key role in strengthening internal controls and processes

• Support audits and ensure compliance with company standards

• Ensure proper stock control across our farm and retail outlet

 

Qualification and Profile:

• Minimum HSC (Diploma is a plus)

• At least 3 years’ experience in inventory, warehouse, finance environment

• An understanding of inventory control operations is an advantage

• Ability to use an ERP systems such as Microsoft D365

• Sharp analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills

• High attention to detail

• Good interpersonal and communication skills

• Able to work both in a team and independently in a fast-paced environment

• Valid driving licence, for regular travel across sites
