Internal Auditor

The United Basalt Products Ltd is seeking to recruit a passionate Internal Auditor.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement internal audit plans across the Group
Perform and control the full audit cycle including computer audit, risk assessment and control over operations’ effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations
Diagnose operational risks and process improvement opportunities
Collaborate with the stakeholders and report accordingly to Management
Evaluate and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of internal control processes
Ensure documentation of audit works in accordance with the international standards
Determine compliance with policies and procedures.
Conduct follow up audits to monitor management’s interventions
Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures

Candidate Profile

Degree in Accounting or Finance or an equivalent qualification with at least 5 years’ experience in a similar post
Being a Certified Internal Auditor will be a definite advantage
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both in English and French
Proficiency in MsOffice, with an ability to produce high-level analytical reports
An innovative and creative problem solver with high interpersonal and communication skills
Good project management and organization skills; ability to multitaskDetail-conscious, entrepreneurial ability and genuine ethical attitude are essential
