Handles coordination between the local or in-country sales finance company’s information technology daily operations, and the headquarters or the regional office technology plan. 
Must be able to execute properly, the mandate and direction based on the information technology strategy.
The technical ability and skills required for the position should be satisfactorily developed to be able to continuously support the growth of the organization.

Leads the local technology projects and assists in the planning of special IT related projects initiated by the headquarters or the regional office.
Supervises local outsourcing entities or services providers if required to augment the existing technical manpower resources or skills available.
Ensures that all technology policies are followed by external support entities.

Conducts local technology trainings and orientations for the company as needed or prescribed by management.
Ensures that system security and technical controls are observed within the technology platform of the company. Creates system procedures and guidelines necessary to preserve orderliness within the organization.
Communicate with software vendors for maintaining applications.

Must be able to respond to technical emergency calls using available communication devices such as electronic mails, mobile phones, telephone landlines, and other devices available but not limited to as provided by the company.
Must initiate the ‘Call-Tree’ protocol of the company during a data center or information technology emergency; and on extreme cases willingness on a 6/7 work-day and emergency on-call availability 24x7 time schedule.

Must have basic working knowledge of operating systems (O/S); logical and physical networks; relational databases (DB); technical platform architectures; hardware devices such as servers, workstations, telecommunication equipment, network switches & hubs, etc.
Must have experience in using software applications or core processing software systems; and installation of Microsoft application software and peripheral utilities.

Should have basic background in technical project management activities, job estimation, and work scheduling. Must promote work efficiency using time and motion principles. Initiate research and development (R&D) activities in order to be updated with current technology trends.
