Our client is seeking to recruit a highly motivated individual for the post of Inbound Reservations consultant to join its flight-only sales department.
Responsibilities
Dealing with a variety of clients, you will be selling tickets on several renowned international airlines to various destinations, with a focus on both the local and ex-pat Mauritian community.
Using own in-house reservation system to supplement your knowledge of Amadeus GDS, the successful candidate will have a proven track record of achieving sales targets within a competitive industry, where his/her own personality and interaction with the clients will be what wins you the booking.
React and respond to incoming telephone and internet enquiries.
Offering the clients not only outstanding service, but using your experience and knowledge to quote the best fares available.
Responsible for seating and meal requests, processing payment and invoicing and offering additional services including airport lounges, accommodation and car-hire.
Responsible for handling Mauritius enquires – putting flight, hotel and transfer components together and deliver the best possible price whilst achieving health margin sales.
Profile
Should have at least 2 years working experience in a travel or related company.
Experience in the hotel sector is also an advantage.
Have a minimum of 12 months GDS experience, preferably with Amadeus.
Self-motivated
A demonstrable interest in travel.
