Seeking an IT System Administrator with 5+ years’ experience, strong skills in Windows Server, AD, Azure AD, O365, network/firewall management, cloud, backups, and disaster recovery. Must be analytical, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently
Key Responsibilities
- Apply OS patches, upgrades, and administrative tool updates on a weekly basis.
- Configure new services, upgrade and tune system software and hardware.
- Ensure device security and maintain updated antivirus protection.
- Perform server updates, performance tuning, and resource optimization.
- Manage and configure access points and carry out hardware repairs when required.
- Troubleshoot and resolve computer hardware and software issues.
- Install and configure systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
- Manage Active Directory, Group Policies, Azure AD sync, and identity management.
- Provide support for Eazzy, Pastel, Sicorax, and liaise with software providers when needed.
- Manage and monitor Office 365 and hybrid infrastructure, including user accounts, permissions, and service health.
- Assist with policy creation for O365 services and support.
- Troubleshoot issues related to cloud services access, OneDrive sharing, mailbox rules, and archiving.
- Manage data migration to cloud platforms.
- Configure and manage SharePoint Online, including access control, user profiles, versioning, and site collections.
- Manage domain and web hosting services and update website content.
- Maintain firewall, filtering, VPN tunnels, and application control policies.
- Implement DLP, retention policies, threat monitoring, and advanced threat protection.
- Manage email retention, litigation holds, eDiscovery, and spam filtering.
- Ensure compliance of all network-connected devices and antivirus coverage.
- Configure Microsoft Authenticator and BitLocker encryption.
- Manage backup policies using Veritas and Azure backup services.
- Perform daily SQL database backups and monitor server performance.
- Configure GRS/LRS backups, replication strategies, and disaster‑recovery readiness.
- Maintain GDPR compliance, workflow automation, and AI integration.
- Conduct attack simulations and credential testing.
- Maintain equipment stock, O365 activity records, bandwidth usage, toner inventory, and asset inventory.
- Handle license renewals and overall infrastructure documentation.
