IT Officer

The IT Officer plays a critical role in maintaining and enhancing an organization's technology infrastructure. This includes providing technical support, managing systems and networks, ensuring cybersecurity, and supporting users across departments.

Position Summary: The IT Officer plays a critical role in maintaining and enhancing an organization's technology infrastructure. This includes providing technical support, managing systems and networks, ensuring cybersecurity, and supporting users across departments.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and networks
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and servers
• Provide first-line support to users and resolve IT-related problems efficiently
• Monitor and manage network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs
• Ensure data security through regular backups, antivirus protection, and access controls
• Implement and enforce IT policies and procedures to maintain system integrity
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve operational efficiency
• Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps
• Collaborating with other departments to understand and support their IT needs
• Assist in planning and executing IT projects such as upgrades, migrations, and installations

🎓 Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• Proven 2 to 3 years of experience in IT support or system administration
• Strong knowledge of operating systems and ERP.
• Familiarity with network protocols and cybersecurity principles
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to system maintenance

Working conditions:

Monday to Friday – 08:30 to 17:00

Saturdays – 08:30 to 13:00

Location – Industrial Zone, Jin Fei, Riche Terre
