IT Developer (2419-ITD)

Our client in the financial services is seeking to recruit an IT Developer. The incumbent will be responsible for designing, developing and supporting a variety of programs and systems that accomplish different integration goals.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Digital applications to meet evolving demands of the Business.
• Work with partners and vendors to drive the company's digital technology solutions.
• Provide input to architecture and front-end developers on API development solutions.
• Collaborate with Business units, project and technical teams to identify, develop, document and deliver APIs.
• Analyze, design, and coordinate the development of major components of the digital experience platform and the enterprise service bus of the company.
• Troubleshoot operational issues as required.
• Ensure coding best practices and test coverage through peer reviewing.

Profile:

• Degree in related field of competence, preferably Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering with at least 4 years' relevant experience.
• Knowledge and experience with Web services, REST, Web API, and other similar technologies.
• Strong knowledge and skills on Java, Java Script, REST, JSON, XML, Python.
• Good experience in developing APIs and middleware.
• Strong collaboration with team and other Business Units.
• Creative, Innovative and Solution-driven.
• Self-motivated, autonomous, and able to take initiatives.
• Process driven and methodological.
• Very good communication and presentation skills, both orally and in writing.
• Availability to work after hours when needed.
