Our client, a well-known brand in the Hospitality sector is looking for an HR Manager with experience in the Hospitality sector.

 

Main duties:

Provide expert advice on and/or supervision of an area of HR Services activity so that HR practices within Company are at the leading-edge of current HR thinking and an efficient service is provided which supports the achievement of HR departmental objectives.  Shifting the focus of the HR Role in the resorts to focus more on People Engagement, Talent Spotting & Development and Organisational Learning

 

Organise and plan the work of direct associates to ensure that all required activity is carried out in an efficient manner.

Develop/ Apply procedures and work instructions for specific HR Services processes in light of HR policy to ensure that activities are carried out in a controlled manner.

Oversee the work of all HR associates to ensure that it is carried out in compliance with all procedures

Manage the performance of all HR associates by the setting of individual objectives and feedback of performance versus targets.

Carry out analysis of data for a specific area of HR Services activity to establish trends so that any necessary corrective action can be applied.

Provide advice and expertise to other Customer Service departments and line personnel concerning specific HR Services processes to ensure that any problems are overcome in a timely and efficient manner.

Provide an expert HR perspective to your internal client and focus on strategic involvement and improvements of organisational productivity and quality

Coach and prompt the managers to think strategically, think about the impact of changes on the business and how to make use of people to achieve success

Ensure that the organisation is appropriately designed to deliver objectives in the short and longterm and provide insight and guidance on development and execution of any capability, cultural and change activities

Contribute to the business strategy by helping identify, prioritise and build company capabilities, behaviours, structures and processes and support line management in forecasting and planning the talent pipeline requirements in line with the department and business strategy.

Oversee the production of reports and management information in a timely and efficient manner to ensure that that information is available to support HR/Personnel Services processes and management decision-making.

Maintain an awareness of all relevant employment legislation to ensure that your property fulfils its legislative obligation.

Qualifications & Experience:  Have exposure to range of HR and general business disciplines and be able to develop strategic initiatives as well as implementing processes and operational solutions. 

- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate to all levels within the organisation. Actively interested in what’s going on with a questioning attitude and willingness to learn. 

- Have strong influencing skills, strong leadership ability and innovative mind set. You must be able to engage, inspire and influence people as well as being able to drive solutions whenever required.

At least 7 years of experience in same or similar role
