Provides support in various human resource functions which include employee counselling, grievances, recruitment and administrative tasks.
- Ensure that the recruitment and selection process is carried out in a professional manner and coherent with Company policies and values.
- Coordinate and ensure that the induction process for new recruits are carried out as planned.
- Update departmental organization structure, job descriptions and participates in job analysis.
- Ensure employment contracts are up to date, signed and acknowledged.
- Ensure that end of probation period appraisals are carried out as required and on time.
- Coordinate and ensure that the Human Resources Development Plan is carried out effectively.
- Coordinate and ensure that all HR processes are followed to ensure the highest level of efficiency.
- Manage and maintain the HR Information System, Payroll System and other HR databases.
- Compute compensation and other benefits.
- Update the compensation and benefits policies of the Company in order to maintain a coherent and sustainable remuneration structure.
- Liaise with external service providers such as partners providing pension plan, medical insurance cover and other institutions.
- Ensure the execution of programmes for employee welfare and wellbeing at work
- Participate in Health and Safety audits and ensure the implementation of Health and Safety recommendations / measures / corrective actions.
- Work out and submit monthly comprehensive HR Report/metrics to Management and Departments.
- Coordinate and ensure that all the administrative duties and tasks of the department are carried out effectively
- Any other cognate duties that befit the position.
