Sea Resorts Hotel Group is having 3 hotels under its aegis and is growing at a fast pace. The group Head Office is situated at Calodyne. To continuously strive for excellence and sustainable growth, we are looking for a dedicated and passionate Housekeeping Manager.

 

This position is for Seapoint Boutique&Spa Hotel which is situated at Pointe aux Cannoniers.The responsibility of the Housekeeping Manager is to plan,implement, organize and coordinate the smooth and efficient operation of the Housekeeping department on a daily basis.

  • Be responsible for the proper scheduling of the department, keeping in mind the forecast of daily occupancy.
  • Train and monitor Housekeeping personnel to ensure all guests and internal customers receive prompt and courteous service.
  • Identify and ensure highest possible standard of cleanliness, maintenance, guest room supplies and amenities at realistic cost.
  • Maintain appropriate standards for dress, hygiene, uniform, appearance, posture and conduct of Housekeeping personnel.
  • Coordinate with Front Office regarding rooms’ availability, out of order, maintenance and repairs and refurbishment as required.
  • Ensure control of room keys.
  • Ensure smooth running of the laundry and distribution of linen.
  • Deal with stained and torn linen appropriately.
  • Maintain cleaning materials and guest supplies in proper conditions.
  • Develop and monitor an annual housekeeping budget and plan
  • Develop & update housekeeping policies, systems procedures and standards
  • Be responsible for all housekeeping assets and recommend specifications of purchase when required
  • Oversee the Lost and Found procedures.
  • Respond to and tackle guest problems to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Attend Management meetings and convey all relevant information throughout the department.
  • Any other duties that may be assigned.

         Other prerequisites

  • Minimum HSC/Any Management course in the field is most welcomed
  • 3 years of experience as Housekeeping Manager
  • Candidates with more more than 5-6 years in supervisory experience are also invited to apply.
