Shangri-La Le Touessrok, Mauritius is looking for a potential Housekeeping Coordinator to join the Housekeeping team and coordinates all calls received in the Housekeeping Department to ensure proper recording and follow through in accordance with the policies, standards and guidelines.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Redirects guests’ requests to the appropriate Service Associates/ Service Leaders/Service Managers.
  • To prepare all the reports for SM and SL including Shangri-la moments for the day.
  • Update the housekeeping board - arrival with guest preference and arrival Room departure time for the back-to-back arrival.
  • Handling FCS, Kipsu, Email, SABA , Opera accurately - creating   request and closing the request in timely manner.
  • To prepare call log sheet with all request entered properly with follow ups.
  • To fill the guest preference files on daily basis and send the consolidated one to the Guest History Manager by the end of each month.
  • To fill daily interaction form and send report daily
  • Records the following documentations accurately: Telephone Call Log, Guest Loan Item,Pest Control Log and Lost and Found.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • School Certificate.
  • 1-2 years of experience in the hotel sector.
Additional Requirements:
  • Candidate should have basic knowledge of housekeeping operations and procedures.
  • Familiarity with hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) is essential.
  • Candidate should be computer literate.
  • Candidate should be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Candidate should be able to work flexible shifts in accordance with hotel operational demands.
