Helper Technician

MC Vision is looking for a Helper Technician to assist Senior Technicians and Technicians in their day-to-day activities, mainly during customer installations and interventions of Rodrigues.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assisting Senior Technicians and Technicians in performing installations and interventions
• Assisting Senior Technicians and Technicians in performing weekly inventory of equipment and accessories
• Performing assembly of dish and accessories
• Performing on-site cabling works
• Ensuring that equipment delivered tally with work instructions
• Verifying and maintaining tidiness of installations vehicles
• Reporting on technical activities to Supervisor and/or Head
• Providing field support for projects run by the department
• Contributing to the preparation of departmental reports on KPIs and projects
• Follow-up of departmental corrective actions

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Minimum SC, NTC 1/2, City & Guilds or equivalent
• 1 years’ work experience in a technical environment
• Experience on Electrical/ electronic installation is a definite plus
• Basic IT knowledge is an advantage
• Must posses a valid driving license 
• Able to Communicate both in English and French
• Polite towards other colleagues, contractors and customers
• Good Team player
• Ensure Quality of Service
