Health & Safety Officer

The Incumbent is responsible for ensuring a safe working environment by implementing and monitoring health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with safety regulations to prevent accidents and promote employee well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular risk assessments and safety inspections.
• Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and prepare reports with recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety legislation and regulations.
• Deliver training sessions and toolbox talks on health and safety topics.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, training, and inspections.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and attend health and safety audits.
• Advise management on health and safety practices and legislative updates.
• Promote employee awareness and engagement in health and safety matters.
