The Head of Supply Chain is responsible for developing, leading, and optimising the organisation’s end-to-end supply chain strategy to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and resilience. The role ensures the seamless flow of goods, services, and information across procurement, inventory, logistics, and distribution, while aligning supply chain operations with business objectives and regulatory requirements. The incumbent will also foster strong stakeholder relationships, drive innovation, and build sustainable practices that support organisational growth and enhance customer satisfaction.

Key Skills and Competencies
Qualifications Formal education required for competence in the job | Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration (MBA), or Logistics. Bachelor’s or Master’s in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or Healthcare Administration is relevant. Certification in CIPS, CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional), or Lean Six Sigma is preferred. |
Experience
| 10+ years in supply chain or procurement leadership roles in healthcare or related industries. Proven experience in vendor management, inventory optimization, and logistics planning. |
Knowledge & Technical Competencies Registrations, Affiliations, Professional Certifications | Expertise in healthcare supply chain operations, procurement processes, and inventory control. Strong knowledge of ERP systems, data analytics, and supply chain automation tools. Membership in supply chain management associations such as APICS or CIPS is preferred. |
