We are looking for an experienced, dynamic, and results-driven Head of Shops to oversee the operations and performance of our retail outlets.

 

Reporting to the Sales Operations and Retail Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, achieving sales targets, maintaining high customer service standards, and leading the team of Shop Supervisors. This role plays a key part in driving business growth, operational excellence, and people development across retail locations.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Management

  • Provide direct supervision, guidance, and support to Shop Supervisors.
  • Ensure each shop is adequately staffed and operating efficiently.
  • Lead regular performance reviews, coaching, and team development initiatives.
  • Foster a positive, high-performance culture across all retail teams.

Retail Operations

  • Oversee daily operations of retail shops to ensure consistency and compliance with company standards.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures and best practices across stores.
  • Coordinate store schedules, stock movements, and logistics with warehouse teams.
  • Ensure visual merchandising, pricing, promotions, and displays are aligned with brand standards.

Sales & Business Performance

  • Monitor sales targets and KPIs for each shop and implement action plans to drive performance.
  • Analyze sales trends and customer feedback to improve product offering and service delivery.
  • Prepare regular operational and financial performance reports for management review.
  • Identify opportunities for growth, cost optimization, and customer experience enhancement.

Customer Experience & Quality Control

  • Ensure exceptional customer service is delivered across all retail outlets.
  • Handle escalated customer issues and complaints when necessary.
  • Maintain cleanliness, safety, and compliance standards in all shops.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in retail management, with multi-store supervision preferred.
  • Proven track record in managing teams, driving sales, and improving operational efficiency.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail POS systems.
  • Willingness to travel between locations and work flexible hours, including weekends.
  • Holder of a valid Driving License.
