Head of Freight Forwarding
The Head of Freight Forwarding should carry out Business Development and Sales marketing functions.
The Sales and
Customer service teams will be under his/her supervision.
He/she should secure new businesses and renews existing
businesses.
The person would require to provide quality customer service and makes sure
that assigned policies are well handled.
He/she sets up and maintains important
relationships with clients through value-added services.
He/she leads and
guides team members.
The right candidate will also motivate and tracks team members’
performance.
The
person selected would manage
sales growth for the organisation as well as
reviewing
classification of clients and competitors as well as develops sales strategies.
He/she will be required to generate
sales leads and conducts business negotiations to gain clients and boost
retention.
Experience in The Shipping Industry / Freight Forwarding sector
Ability to lead a Team to Improve the Freight Forwarding activities
Actively participate within the management team
Develop
and carry out sales and marketing strategies.
Supervise and coach the Freight Forwarding Team
Lead
and handle activities of sales and marketing staff.
Liaise
with clients on pre and post sales.
Manage
and grow existing accounts to raise revenue.
Review
client feedback to improve on service delivery.
Work with internal departments to have the same approach
for client engagement.
Analyse
data on competitor landscapes and buyer demands to identify sales
opportunities.
Develop
actions to address buyer requests that do not comply with the signed sales
agreement.
Develop
insights from buyer feedback for further product enhancements.
