Job Description:
As an HR Assistant at Albert Group Ltd, you will support the Human Resources department in administrative and operational HR functions. You will assist with recruitment activities, employee documentation, and general HR support to ensure the smooth and efficient running of HR processes. This role is key in maintaining a positive and well-organised work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job ads, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Prepare and distribute HR documents, such as employment contracts, offer letters, exit processes, and policies.
- Assist with onboarding new employees and conducting orientation sessions.
- Handle employee inquiries and provide support on HR-related matters.
- Assist in organizing company events, training sessions, and employee activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
- Support payroll processing by collecting and verifying timekeeping information.
- Assist in preparing HR reports and presentations.
- Perform other administrative duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Certificate in Human Resources
- Previous experience in an administrative or HR role preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of HR software (Vipertex) would be a definite advantage.

Working Conditions:
- Full-time, office-based role.
- Located in Port Louis
- Mon to Fri: 08h30 - 17h,
- Sat: 08h30 > 13h.
- May be required to do overtime from time to time.
