HANDYMAN CUM ELECTRICAL/PLUMBING

Carry out general handyman duties with a trade specialization (Plumbing or Electrical) to ensure facilities, equipment, and systems are properly maintained, safe, and fully functional

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform installation, repair, and maintenance of trade-related systems (Plumbing: pipes, fittings, fixtures, drainage; Electrical: wiring, fixtures, power supply, equipment).
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to identify issues.
• Handle general repair and handyman tasks (basic carpentry, painting, minor repairs).
• Diagnose and troubleshoot faults within area of specialization.
• Ensure compliance with safety codes, regulations, and company standards.
• Support emergency repair requests promptly.
• Report major defects or safety hazards to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Requirements:

• Technical certification in plumbing or electrical trade (depending on specialization).
• Proven experience as a Handyperson with trade expertise.
• Good knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and safety practices.
• Ability to perform multi-skilled maintenance tasks beyond core trade.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
