Role Overview:
You’ll play a key role in keeping our properties in top shape for our guests and owners. From
managing inventory and repairs, sourcing the best items to complete our fully equipped
homes, to coordinating with interior decorators when needed — you’ll be the go-to person
making sure everything runs smoothly and looks fantastic. You’ll also keep an eye on related
costs, ensuring we’re choosing the right items without going over budget, so our properties
stay beautiful, comfortable, and cost-eficient. This is a hands-on role that calls for great
organisation, maintenance know-how, multitasking, and plenty of attention to detail.
In a short-term rental business, property management plays a crucial role in ensuring that
both owners and guests have a smooth experience. The property management team is
responsible for maintaining the physical condition of the properties and optimising
operations to ensure great guest experience and profitability for property owners.
 
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor Property Conditions: Conduct regular inspections between guest stays to
assess property conditions, detecting issues like wear and tear or malfunctions.
Arrange for necessary repairs or maintenance to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Coordinate with Teams: Work closely with the onsite teams to ensure properties are
guest-ready, managing turnovers to meet tight schedules and high standards.
• Vendor Management: Manage relationships with maintenance workers and service
providers to ensure smooth operations, quick repairs, and quality.
• Handle Emergency Situations: Address any urgent property-related issues that
could impact the guest experience, coordinating rapid resolutions.
• Manage Damage Reports: Collaborate with the cleaning team to identify damages or
missing items after guest departures, organizing repairs or replacements as needed.
• Oversee Repairs: Schedule and supervise both routine maintenance and urgent
repairs, ensuring minimal disruption to bookings.
• Administrative Tasks: Assist with scheduling, paperwork, and inventory
management to ensure properties are well-maintained year-round.
• Inventory & Supplies Management: Ensure properties are stocked with repair
supplies, functioning equipment, and guest amenities (e.g., welcome pack, linens,
toiletries), replenishing as necessary.
 
Other duties:
• Welcoming guests in person in a warm friendly, yet professional way. Giving guests a
tour of the space and informing guests about things they need to know about the
property and neighbourhood.
• Communication with the guests when necessary
• For any requirements guests may have, address them accordingly in a timely manner.
• To provide support in the day-to-day operational tasks of the Company
• Ensure proper product knowledge and understanding of accommodations -
specificities, staK, issues & things to note on each property.
• Be proactive to eUiciently manage out of control situations for better satisfaction
of all customers
 
Qualifications:
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail.
• A valid driving license is more than essential as this role requires frequent travel
between properties.
• Excellent communication skills for managing vendor relationships and coordinating
with internal teams.
• Ability to troubleshoot and respond eUectively to urgent maintenance or guestrelated
issues.
• Hands-on problem-solving approach and willingness to take responsibility for the
condition of the properties and a can-do attitude!
• Familiarity with short-term rental platforms (Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo, etc.) is a
plus.
• Previous experience in property management, facility maintenance, or a related field
is a plus.
• Must have a driving licence (manual) or own car
