CMT is currently looking for a graphic designer to join its team. The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate creativity, be attentive to details, understand the visual needs of clients and able to work in a fast pace environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Research aspects of fashion and fashion industry
- Research/forecast fashion trends from different sources such as Magazines, WGSN, Catwalks, etc
- Apply knowledge of embellishments (structure, behavior, manipulation, etc)
- Integrate color theory and graphic processes
- Originate concept for own work and conduct critical discourse
- Develop graphic design concepts
- Research and apply techniques for special graphics effect, e.g. distress, distort, paint effects, etc
- Research and experiment with techniques for embellishments
- Interpret and respond to brief
- Ensure commercialization value of graphic design
- Manage graphic design realization with the collaboration of color-separation team, garment technologists and designers
- Participate in brain storming and negotiations with designers & merchandisers
- Make presentations for graphic developments
- Select and apply drawing techniques and media to represent and communicate graphic concept
- Produce computer-aided drawings (CAD)
- Produce manual drawings, paintings, airbrush and other handcraft works & effects
- Adopt the capacity of meeting deadlines in a most efficient way
Qualifications:
Degree Holder in Graphic Design or any related field.
