Finishing Foreman

Site Supervision Team Management Quality Control Progress & Reporting Health & Safety Materials & Tools Coordination

Key Responsibilities:

• Site Supervision:
• Manage and coordinate all finishing activities on site including painting, tiling, flooring, false ceilings, partitions, carpentry, and other final touches.
• Ensure works are completed as per project drawings, quality standards, and client expectations.
• Team Management:
• Supervise finishing subcontractors and skilled workers, ensuring discipline, productivity, and proper workmanship.
• Allocate tasks, monitor performance, and provide on-the-spot guidance to resolve site-level issues.
• Quality Control:
• Inspect works to ensure alignment with quality benchmarks and rectify any defects or rework required.
• Coordinate snagging and de-snagging activities before handover.
• Progress & Reporting:
• Monitor daily progress and report to the Site Manager or Project Engineer.
• Maintain daily site diaries and submit progress reports as required.
• Health & Safety:
• Enforce compliance with safety regulations and ensure proper PPE usage on site.
• Report and manage any incidents or unsafe practices immediately.
• Material & Tools:
• Check availability of materials and tools required for finishing works; raise requisitions when needed.
• Prevent wastage and ensure proper handling and storage of materials.
• Coordination:
• Liaise with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to resolve design or specification issues.
• Coordinate with MEP and structural teams to ensure finishing works align with other disciplines.
