Our Client:

We are currently looking for an experienced Financial Accounting and Reporting Manager for one of our clients.

Your Profile:

  • Working Experience: minimum 5 - 10 years work experience, preferably in auditing firms
  • Candidate should have occupied positions like Senior Auditor/Lead Auditor or Audit Managers.

Your Role & Responsibilities:

  • This position will be responsible for developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements, in compliance with IFRS standards. 
  • This position addresses tight deadlines and accounting activities including general ledger preparation, financial reporting, year-end audit preparation, management reporting and the support of budget and forecast activities.
  • Supervise staff accountants and is responsible for managing the team to ensure that work is properly allocated, completed in a timely and accurate manner, to provide efficient services to the Companies, being committed to customer service and continuous improvement.
  • The Financial Accounting Manager will have contact with auditors, statutory organizations, the Directors, the Companies’ Managing Directors, and Business Controllers.
  • Maintain accounting controls by establishing a chart of accounts; defining accounting policies and procedures.
  • Guide other departments by researching and interpreting accounting policy; applying observations and recommendations to operational issues.
  • keep abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation
  • maintain financial security by establishing internal controls; protect organization's value by keeping information confidential
  • support budgets and forecasts activities with Business Controllers; coordinating the collection, consolidation, and evaluation of financial data; preparing reports
  • liaise with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out; develop internal and external relationships with appropriate contacts, incl. statutory organizations such as the MRA
  • provide training to new and existing staff as needed, develop competencies of the team
  • Monitor special projects and workflow process improvements; as a shared service center, provide effective decision support, develop common practices, common data structures, and drive continuous cost reduction.
