Financial Accountant - (1747-FC)

Our client is seeking to recruit a passionate Financial Accountant.

Responsibilities

. Prepare the Group's Financial statements in accordance with IFRS and prevailing accounting standard.

. Coordinate and prepare the monthly and quarterly accounts consolidation and publication process.

. Drive the preparation of yearly budgets/forecasts.

. Ensure timely submission of statutory returns.

. Lead and manage the group external audit exercise.

. Lead and mentor skills development of departmental staff.

Profile:

. Full ACCA graduate.

. MSc in Finance/Risk Management / MBA or an equivalent qualification will be an advantage.

. Experience of at least 5 years' in a similar post in a business with a turnover above Rs.1B.

. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both in English and French.

. Proficiency in Ms Office, with an ability to produce both high-level and in-depth analytical reports.

. An innovative and creative problem solver with high interpersonal skills.

. Can Do Attitude, detail conscious, good organizational skills and entrepreneurial ability are essential.
