Provide high-level support to the Managing Director while ensuring financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and compliance. Act as a key liaison between the MD, finance team, and external stakeholders, supporting strategic priorities with discretion and analytical rigor.
Manage the Managing Director’s calendar, meetings, and appointments
Draft and review professional correspondence, reports, and presentations
Coordinate internal and external communications with discretion
Organise travel, logistics, and ad-hoc administrative tasks
Follow up on action items and support execution of strategic initiatives
Prepare and post accounting journal entries
Assist with bank, supplier, and customer reconciliations
Support month-end and year-end closing processes
Maintain accurate general ledger and financial records
Prepare reports, audit schedules, and financial documentation for internal and external audits
Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, statutory filings, and internal control procedures
Serve as a trusted point of contact between MD, finance team, and external stakeholders
Support audit and compliance exercises in coordination with local authorities
Ensure seamless execution of operational and financial priorities
Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in finance, executive support, or hybrid roles
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Cognos, Sage) and Microsoft Office 365
Strong understanding of Mauritian accounting standards and basic IFRS principles
High level of discretion, confidentiality, and integrity
Excellent organisational, communication, and analytical skills
Ability to multitask, prioritise, and work independently
