Adecco is an International HR and Consultancy firm. Our client, in the financial and investment sector, is looking for a Finance Manager.

 

Our client, in the financial and investment sector, is looking for a Finance Manager.

Reporting to the Group FC and Group CFO, the successful candidate will be responsible to provide financial information to management by researching and analysing accounting data; preparing reports. Supervises the day to day activities of the reporting employee’s.

Main responsibilities:

(i)To assist the Group FC in his day to day activities

(ii) Internal:

  • Contact with colleagues within the Group, CFO, CEO, GM, HR, Admins and Finance staff.
  • To manage the work of the reporting employees.

(iii) External:

  • Contact with Auditors, Customers, Suppliers, Banks, MRA, Government authorities, etc…

Key Accountabilities

  • To manage external relationships (customers and suppliers);
  • To ensure that monthly management accounts, end of year financial statements and budgets are prepared for the Company and/or its Subsidiaries within the prescribed time limit;
  • To manage the cash flow for the Company and/or its Subsidiaries;
  • To manage fixed assets including their physical risks;
  • To ensure that the company complies with taxation requirements;
  • To manage all financial and accounting processes, procedures and policies of the Company and/or its Subsidiaries;
  • To co-ordinate the activities of all team members under your responsibility and ensure full responsibility and accountability of each team member;
  • To ensure that sound and effective control and general accounting procedures are developed and adhered to;
  • To prepare and submit monthly, quarterly and annual returns (VAT, NPS, PAYE, TDS, APS, Corporate Tax)
  • Ensure team work and an atmosphere of trust and respect prevail.
  • To engage in collaborative relationships and produce results on time and accurately
  • Be courteous and engage in collaborative working relationships ensuring that information flow is accurate and timely.
  • Ensure timely returns are made and management of accounts are executed within targeted time.

Qualification:

  • ACCA qualified or any equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years post qualification experience, including time at Accountant level.

Candidate profile:

  • Familiar with Oracle Applications;
  • Sound knowledge of Accounting Standards and tax legislations relating to companies;
  • Conversant with Microsoft office tools, particularly, Excel, Word and Powerpoint;
  • Attention to detail;
  • Communication skills;
  • Interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to delegate;
  • Business Acumen;
  • Financial Acumen;
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines;
  • Ability to manage multiple staff.
