Our client is recruiting a Finance Executive to report to the Finance and Administrative Manager.
Main objectives
The Finance Executive will assume a multifaceted role encompassing cost and management accounting, operations review, and forecasting. In addition to traditional financial responsibilities, the executive engages in cost analysis, evaluating expenditures and identifying areas for optimization to enhance overall financial efficiency.
Management accounting involves providing insights for decision-making through performance analysis, budgetary control, and variance analysis. The executive conducts comprehensive operation reviews to assess the financial implications of business processes and recommends improvements. Forecasting plays a pivotal role in anticipating future financial trends, enabling proactive decision-making. The Finance executive should be comfortable in analyzing complex financial data to identify trends and make recommendations, leading to significant cost savings and revenue growth
Roles and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Finance & Admin Manager to formulate and implement financial strategies aligned with the overall goals and objectives of the company.
- Identify and assess financial risks, implementing strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Analyze financial data and market trends to provide insights for strategic decision-making.
- Conduct comprehensive operation reviews to assess the financial implications of business processes and recommend improvements.
- Oversee the budgeting process, ensuring the proper allocation of resources.
- Provide strategic insights through performance analysis, budgetary control, and variance analysis.
- Evaluate investment opportunities and assess their financial impact on the organization.
- Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard Company’s assets.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure a smooth audit process.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation to facilitate the audit process.
- Ensure that all financial transactions are properly documented and comply with regulatory requirements.
Financial Reporting
- Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports to the management team and stakeholders as and when needed.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Communicate financial results and insights to non-financial stakeholders of the company.
- Assist and oversee accounts reconciliation.
- Uphold ethical standards and confidentiality in financial practices.
- Team Management and horizontal collaboration
- Assist in the leadership of the finance team, providing guidance, coaching, and supervision.
- Foster a culture of financial discipline, accountability, and continuous improvement within the finance department.
- Oversee the company's proper financial procedures by training employees in the finance department accordingly.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to communicate financial insights.
Qualifications
- College/University Education:
- Diploma or bachelor’s in finance or a related field, such as economics, accounting, or business.
Skills & Competencies:
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Relevant experience
- At least 5 years’ experience in performing a similar position
