Finance Data Analyst (Trading)

PURPOSE Maintain Investment Module, Forex Management, NAV Check and PV Reports and Trading of Securities To gather, analyse and review information from various sources. Understand patterns and trends, monitor monthly performance indicators, and do variance analysis.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analysis and Reporting
• Monitor, enforce operational metrics tracking
• Provide weekly and monthly reporting to Head Client Services
• Implement tasks assigned such as operational efficiency
• Forecasting and project support
• Maintenance of the investment module and centralising the creation of securities.
• Ensure that share prices and FX are updated on our software daily
• Assist in collating the performance of securities and establish simple processes to evaluating performance of securities/portfolios.
• Forex Management – Assist teams with cross currency payments and finding the best rates with banks.
• Monthly reporting requirements for clients NAV check and PV reports.
• Trading of securities - Buying and selling of securities
• Review and evaluate performance of investment portfolios

PROFILE

• Minimum 4-5 years’ experience in similar role
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; ACCA, CPA or CMA a plus
• Knowledge of accounting and booking of investment
• Knowledge and interest in financial markets and portfolios performances.
• Good understanding of Forex and dealing with banks
• Experience in processing trading instructions on securities
• In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes
• Hands on experience with statistical analysis, financial forecasting & diagnosis, accounting, and information analysis
• Proficient in excel and other MS Office and financial/accounting software applications.
• Strong quantitative and analytical competency
