Manage all financial operations, ensure compliance with statutory and donor requirements, maintain accurate records, prepare reports and budgets, and support audits. The role requires at least 5 years’ experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to set up systems independently.

 

The Finance Officer manages JA Mascareignes' finances, including payroll, statutory filings (NSF, CSG, Portable Gratuity and Income Fund, Return of Employees, Statement of Emoluments), donor reports, budgeting, bank reconciliations, and audit preparation.

Eatablish proper filing system for all financial and accounting documents.

Maintain proper accounting records in respect to invoices, cashbook and payment vouchers for all payments for JA Mascareignes

Maintain fixed Asset Register for all JA Mascareignes office assets .

Requires 5+ years' experience, strong accounting skills, and ability to establish systems from scratch.

Must ensure timely, accurate reporting and full regulatory compliance.
