The Field Supervisor is responsible for overseeing on-site operations. This includes supervising field work, monitoring work progress, enforcing safety protocols, and coordinating with management to meet project objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise day-to-day field operations and activities to ensure work is completed on schedule and meets quality standards.
Manage, coach, and support field workers, including assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
Oversee and, where necessary, conduct tractor operations for herbicide application, ensuring proper preparation, dosage, and application techniques.
Conduct regular inspections of equipment, tools, and materials to ensure readiness and proper usage.
Monitor crop conditions, weather, and other factors affecting field operations.
Maintain accurate records of field activities, including herbicide application, work progress, incidents, and resource usage.
Coordinate with operation managers, agronomists, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve field issues promptly.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Field Supervisor or similar supervisory role.
Practical knowledge of tractor operations and herbicide application.
Familiarity with safety regulations, pesticide handling, and environmental standards.
Ability to work in outdoor and agricultural environments.
Work Environment:
Field-based role requiring travel to agricultural sites.
May involve working in varied weather conditions or physically demanding environments.
