Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and operations of all our facilities. The Facilities Manager will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and cost-effective management of our facilities, including building maintenance, repairs, cleanliness, safety, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive facility management plans and strategies for all our locations.
- Coordinate and supervise maintenance and repair activities, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, lighting, security systems, and other building infrastructure.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and opportunities for improvement.
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors, contractors, and service providers for facility maintenance and repair services.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and environmental standards across all locations.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cost control for facility maintenance and operations.
- Develop and maintain documentation, records, and reports related to facility management activities.
- Manage fit-out, renovation and refurbishment projects
- Coach and manage a maintenance team.
Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Facilities Manager or similar role, preferably in a retail or multi-site environment.
- Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance practices, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire safety systems.
- Experience managing third-party vendors, contractors, and service providers.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and health and safety standards.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to multiple store locations as needed.
