Assist the F&D Director in performing Office Administrative functions and operation service task in all outlets of the Resort and ensuring that the F&B operating standards are being abided to at all times.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversees and directs all aspects of secretarial work related to F&D
- Transmits any orders or decisions taken by the Director of F&D Manager or F&D Manager promptly to team members as per instructions.
- Organises and files all F&D documents so that they are readily available on request for answering queries or preparing reports.
- Accurately word-processes all rosters, correspondence, minutes of meeting, reports, memos and other documents relevant to the F&D Department.
- Edits and prints menus as per instructions
- Ensure service delivery standards in line with SOPs and ensure conformance by carrying out SOP audits and follow up
- Take care of F&D mailing and provide relevant correspondence with Guest queries
- Adhere to Occupational Safety and Health Act, local health and safety codes, and company safety and security policy
- Order, take inventory of stock, maintain records of purchase and sales , for the smooth running of the operations
- Assist Management in strategies to move the F&D Department forward
- Brings great support to the F&B Team and emphasizes proactivity within the Department
- Assist in planning and organizing events related to food and beverage services. This includes coordinating catering for conferences, weddings, corporate functions, and other special occasions
REQUIREMENT
- A minimum of 1 year of working experience in the hospitality industry
- High levels of Integrity.
- Pro-active, dynamic, flexible and professional attitude with strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong team spirit and ability to work independently.
- Customer oriented mindset
- Ability to communicate with all levels of staff
- Great organizational skillS
- Excellent telephone skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French languages.
- Sound knowledge of the Microsoft Office Package.
- Willingness to work during odd hours, weekends and on Public Holidays
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least Higher School Certificate or equivalent qualifications.
- Tertiary education at Diploma or Degree level majoring in Hospitality Management from a recognised institution or equivalent qualifications will be an advantage
