The F&B Hostess Cashier shall ensure that all guests are taken care of from their entering the restaurant till their departure upon bill closure is as per Hotel Procedures
Duties & Responsibilities:
Meet and greet all guests, and potential guests, in the lobby & Restaurant by ensuring the following:
• Ensure the restaurant is ready to receive guests prior to opening
• Maintaining outstanding uniform and personal presentation standards
• Welcoming guests at the Restaurant, by using the Restaurant name
• Inquiring if external guests have a reservation and noting it
• Escort guests to their preferred table or reserved table and seat guests according to restaurant standards
• Take telephone bookings and document in the Reservation book according to restaurant standards
• Be attentive to guests and resolve their complaints where possible, reporting all incidents to your Supervisor
• Accurately and promptly fulfilling guest requests in a timely manner.
• Maintain a high level of knowledge which will enhance the guest experience.
• Keep Hostess desk clean & tidy.
• Maintain menus and drink menus in good condition
• Assist with food &beverage service
• Be aware of Promotional menus & drinks, including daily specials
• Ensure tables are cleared quietly and efficiently
• Be knowledgeable on hotel’s factsheet and general.
• Circulate & communicate all info’s received from guests to relevant services.
• Ensure the mode of payment of each client
• Ensure billing is done as per procedure
• Reconcile all the bills at end of the shift

REQUIREMENTS
Proven work experience preferably in Hotel industry as Cashier or similar role
Hands-on experience with Hotel Management systems
Proficiency in both English and French is a must.
Customer service driven with outstanding communication skills
Ability to work on afternoon shift
Strong sense of responsibility
