MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance. Specific uniform guidelines will be explained as a part of the orientation process.
- To provide administrative support to all F&B outlets.
- Accurately process, correspondence, minutes of meeting, reports, memos, action plan, weekly planner, menu, guest voucher and other relevant documents.
- Transmit any orders or decisions taken by the F&B Manager promptly to team members as per instructions.
- Organize and file all F&B documents so that they are readily available on request for answering queries or preparing reports.
- Assist F&B Manager with dealing with suppliers.
- Maintain a clean, neat and organized office.
- Take messages and ensure communication is effective and passed on to F&B Manager with correct information.
- Ensure service delivery standards in line with SOPs and ensure conformance by carrying out SOP audits and follow up.
- Host guests at the outlets when required.
- Take care of F&B mailing and provide relevant correspondence with Guest queries.
- Work in close collaboration with other departments.
- Be familiar with Food and Beverage Operation functionality and Special Task.
- Participate and assist F&B Manager in all meetings relevant to the Department.
- Liaise with Front Office and prepare Guest Preferences Report for F&B and Executive Chef.
- To participate in any training sessions organized by the hotel.
- To comply with all company and local laws regarding Environment, Fire, Health & Safety Procedure.
- Assist the F&B Manager in adhering to Hygiene manual, health and safety regulations.
- Minimize loss and misuse in order to achieve and exceed the Restaurant budgeted profitability.
- Assist the F&B Manager to implement cost saving and profit enhancing measures.
CRITERIA
- Be a passionate, talented, and creative, possess a dynamic personality and be highly motivated.
- Experience in F&B Operations will be an advantage.
- Time-management and organizational abilities.
- Excellent inter-personal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of POS and Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel and Word.
- Fluency in English and French; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
- Creative and innovative.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Good Knowledge of Food and Beverage – especially the In Room Dining operations.
- Hands-on approach to all operational aspects.
- Proficiency in MC and ordering.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
