Ecoasis is recruiting an Energy Audit/Energy Efficiency Intern for 2 months!

 

Context:
As part of our commitment to energy transition and improving energy performance in our buildings and operations (tertiary, hospitality, and industrial sectors), we are offering a hands-on internship within our team dedicated to energy audits

 

Main Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of a senior energy engineer, the intern will participate in the following tasks:

  • Collecting and analysing energy consumption data (invoices, BMS, sub-metering, etc.)
  • Conducting energy audits in accordance with ISO 50002 (in tertiary, industrial, hospitality, or residential sectors depending on the case)
  • Performing technical site visits to record equipment, usage, and building fabric data (construction, dimensions, etc)
  • Assist in the thermal & energy modelling of sites and major energy-consuming equipment/systems.
  • Identifying energy-saving opportunities and proposing improvement actions
  • Calculating energy savings and economic estimates (payback period, IRR, etc.)
  • Contributing to the drafting of audit reports and client presentations
  • Performing on-site measurements (electrical, lighting, temperature)
  • Supporting in the development of databases, tools and templates

 

 

Profile Needed:

  • Student in engineering school, Master’s in energy/environment, or equivalent
  • Basic knowledge of building thermal systems, HVAC systems, and electricity
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Proficient in Excel; knowledge of tools such as Pleiades, PVSyst, Designbuilder, or Python is a plus
  • Good written and spoken English; technical English is a plus
  • Analytical mindset, rigor, curiosity, autonomy
  • Team player
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills
