Electrician (L'Aventure du Sucre)

We are looking for a reliable and skilled Electrician to maintain and ensure the safety of all electrical systems at L’Aventure du Sucre. The ideal candidate is proactive, safety-minded, and able to troubleshoot and repair electrical issues efficiently.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure proper functioning of all electrical systems inside and outside the buildings.
• Test electrical systems, wiring, equipment, and lighting fixtures to ensure proper operation.
• Inspect systems and components to identify hazards, defects, or required repairs.
• Prevent system breakdowns through regular inspections, replacement of old wiring/cables, and cleaning of circuits.
• Use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes to identify and resolve electrical issues safely.
• Troubleshoot and carry out timely repairs as needed.
• Maintain stock of electrical consumables and cleaning materials; place orders as required.
• Complete monthly preventive test logs as per Health & Safety regulations.
• Provide electrical setup support for events, meetings, and team-building activities.
• Assist with general maintenance tasks when required.
• Support setup and dismantling of décor, tables, chairs, scaffolding, etc.
• Repair or replace electrical equipment or lighting fittings when necessary.
• Perform additional maintenance duties assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
• Ensure proper care and use of all tools and equipment.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience as an electrician (experience in building maintenance is an advantage).
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Knowledge of electrical testing equipment and safety standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically able to carry out manual tasks (e.g., lifting, installation, setup).
