ER Nurse

The ideal candidate will be capable of delivering high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment, demonstrating sound clinical judgment and a patient-focused approach.

• Provide prompt and effective emergency nursing care to patients
• Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary team to ensure timely and appropriate care
• Monitor and assess patients’ conditions, responding swiftly to changes
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with clinical protocols and standards
• Effective and smooth admission, discharge and transfer of patients
• Ensure safety of patients at all times
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care and act accordingly to any anomaly
• Attend to patients’ daily activities of living according to needs
• Administration of prescribed drugs - orally, intramuscular and intravenously
• Implement and maintain Hospital policies, procedures and routines

• Diploma in Nursing ( Recognised by the Nursing Council in Mauritius)
• Registered with Nursing Council of Mauritius
• At least 3-7 years of work experience
• Computer literate
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
