Driver

A Hotel Driver's role is to provide guests with safe, reliable, and comfortable transportation to and from the hotel, airports, local attractions, administration works and other destinations.

• To drive company vehicles to deliver messages or materials when required.
• To plan delivery and pick up wisely and in a timely manner.
• To plan and follow the most efficient routes for delivering goods.
• To perform routine checks on delivery vehicles, such as monitoring fluid (oils & water) levels and replenishing fuel.
• To clean and wash company vehicles in and out as and when required.
• To greet incoming guests with a smile and escort them to their rooms.
• To transfer luggage to and from vehicles or transportation terminals, by hand or using baggage carts.
• To take luggage of guests to respective rooms safely.
• To assist physically challenged travellers and other guests with special needs.
• To record information, such as items received and delivered and recipient’s responses to messages and handle with confidentiality.

Skills

• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Excellent driving skills and knowledge of local traffic laws and routes.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with guests and staff.
• Good communication skills.
• Basic vehicle maintenance skills.
• Ability to maintain organized records and documentation.
