The Incumbent will be responsible to coordinate the Health & Safety, Security & Control, Sustainability, Service and Quality Assurance aspects of Distribution activities in order to raise the standard and level of service of the department. An attractive package awaits the ideal candidate.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare and implement a Health & Safety Plan for the Distribution department yearly.
  • Review progress of the Plan and assess at end of year.
  • Compile, analyse and share Health & Safety KPIs.
  • Analyse all cases of injury, incidents and accidents.
  • Attend H&S committees and convey related information between the committee and the department.
  • Work closely with the Health & Safety Manager to implement best practices and initiatives.
  • Develop, update and disseminate procedures and process flows, especially with the new ERP.
  • Develop, implement, maintain and present the D/S and S/A league dashboards regularly to crew members and Distribution team.
  • Custodian of technological tools in the department by trouble-shooting and ensuring proper functioning at all times of:
  • Hand-held devices & printers for D/S.
  • GPS system.
  • bulk sms platform.
  • display screens.
  • Set up alarm notifications in GPS for idle trucks at customers, time in and time out of PBL, speeding, etc.
  • Compile, analyse and identify recurrent GPS alarms on trucks, and breakdown of equipment.
  • Prepare the roadmap for a Quality Certification such as ISO 19001 for the Distribution department.
  • Carry out surveys with different stakeholders to determine the quality of service from Distribution department.
  • Prepare and follow up on action plan resulting from survey.
  • Follow up on and ensure timely settlement of all complaints received from CRU or other parties.
  • Compile, analyse and share KPIs related to delivery complaints.
  • Undertake miscellaneous projects as needed.
Qualifications & Skills required
  • Higher School Certificate (HSC) plus a Diploma in Health & Safety / Quality Assurance / Engineering
  • 2 or 3 years of experience in a technical / H & S / QA Operational Environment, preferably in a FMCG Sector
  •  Technical and operational background
  • Analytical, methodological and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changes
  • Be reactive and provide timely solutions
  • Good communication skills
