We are recruiting a Digital Marketing & Social Media Officer for our client based in Port Louis.

 

Poste :  Digital Marketing & Social Media Officer

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Plannin and Managing Email Campaigns :
• Update the email campagne calendar
• Design campaigns based on briefs an target audiences
• Format emails using HTML/CSS in line with brand guidelines
• Integrate campaigns into the company's email marketing platform
Preparing and Launching Campaigns :
• Verify the quality of contact databases before sending
• Run tests to optimise deliverability (layouts, links, redirections, etc.)
• Schedule campaigns according to the planned timeline
• Monitor delivery and troubleshoot technical issues
Reporting and Analysis :
• Generate campaign performance reports(open rate, click rate, engagement)
• Analyse results and suggest areas fro improvement
• Maintain dashboards and update overall campaign metrics
Social Media Management:
• Develop and execute a social media strategy aligned with company objectives
• Launch and monitor paid social media campaigns and analyse their impact
Continuous Improvement & Innovation :
• Suggest creative and technical ideas to enhance campaign effectiveness
• Contribute to the improvement of platforms and campaign processes
• Support internal users of the email platform (training, assistance, best practices)
 
Key Skills & Competencies
Technical Skills :
• Strong command of HTML and CSS
• Good understanding of responsive design and email limitations
• Familiarity with email marketing tools and practices (deliverability, opt-in/out, etc.)
• Experience with email marketing and automation platforms
• Proficiency in social media tools (Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.)
• Web-savvy with knowledge of cross-device constraints
• Experience using design tools (Photoshop, Canva, Illustrator)
Digital Marketing Skills :
• Solid knowledge of social media marketing and community management
• Strong grasp of engagement and performance metrics across platforms
• Experience in managing paid ad campaigns (Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.)
Language Skills :
• Excellent written and spoken French
Personal Attributes
• Detail-oriented and methodical
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage priorities
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Proactive, independent, and solutions-oriented
• Team player with a collaborative mindset
• Creative with a good sense of design
QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum Diploma in Digital Marketing, Communications, IT, or a related field
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role
Working Hours
• Fixed schedule, Monday to Friday (11:00 AM – 8:00 PM or 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM)
Proposed Salary
• Rs 25,000 (negotiable based on experience)
