We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer / Developer with a strong background in Python, Azure, and Databricks.
You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust data pipelines and analytics solutions in an Agile environment. The ideal candidate will be collaborative, detail-oriented, and solution-driven.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and assess the technical impact of functional requirements
- Design and implement scalable data processing pipelines using Python, PySpark, and SQL
- Optimize technical stack and propose innovative solutions for industrialization.
- Create unit and integration tests to ensure code quality
- Maintain clear and structured technical documentation
- Debug and resolve issues efficiently; implement enhancements based on user feedback
- Agile Delivery & Quality Assurance
- Contribute in Agile ceremonies (SAFe/Scrum).
- Track progress and manage tasks using Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow.
- Participate in code reviews and apply continuous improvement practices
- Collaborate cross-functionally with analysts, architects, and stakeholders.
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exhibit initiative, curiosity, and the ability to challenge the status quo.

Candidate Profile:
- Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering or data development roles.
- Proven expertise in both batch and real-time data processing.
Desirable Certifications (Optional but Advantageous):
- Microsoft Azure Data Engineer Associate
- Databricks Certification
- Dbt Fundamentals
