The Data Analyst will be responsible for transforming raw data into actionable insights that support both strategic and operational decision-making.

 

The Data Analyst role focuses on transforming raw data into actionable insights, centralizing reporting, and providing predictive analysis to optimize performance, enhance guest experience, and support strategic goals at Casela Nature Parks.

Being in this role, you will be involved but not limited to:

  • Centralize and streamline reporting across all departments.
  • Design and automate dashboards to provide real-time operational and financial insights.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and accessibility of data for stakeholders.
  • Analyze data from systems such as SEMNOX, POS and IoT devices to identify trends,patterns, and opportunities.
  • Provide predictive insights to improve guest experience, resource allocation, and performance.
  • Identify trends, patterns and anomalies to support business decision-making
  • Perform financial and operational analysis ( Sales, costs, resource allocation, CAPEX/OPEX tracking)
  • Deliver actionable insights to management for operational and strategic decisions.
  • Recommend process improvements based on data-driven findings.
  • Provide ROI analysis for projects,promotions and capital investments.
  • Assist in measuring sustainability initiatives (energy,waste,resource use)
  • Reduce reporting delays and manual effort through automation and integration,
  • Stay updated with industry tools, analytics best pratices, and emerging data technologies.
  • Monitor performance metrics to identify opportunities for process optimization.
  • Ensure as reasonably practicable, the safety, health and welfare of employees at work.
  • Support in the implementation of health and safety risk management programs relevant to the operations and work environment
  • Report to the Health & Safety department as required and support in the investigation of accidents and incidents.
  • Ensure adherence to existing local H&S legislations and regulations as well as to any other

Any other cognate duties as may be necessary in the circumstances and/or required by the employer.

Candidate’s Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field.
  • 2-4 year's proven experience in data analysis,reporting, and dashboard automation
  • Strong knowledge of databases,SQL, and date integration
  • Strong knowledge of data visualization tools (Power BI,Tableau, or equivalent)
  • Advanced Excel skills (Pivot tables, formulas, macros)
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail and data accuracy
