DEPOTS OPERATIONS COORDINATOR

TotalEnergies is looking for a Depots Operations Coordinator who will oversee daily depot activities and will ensure that all operations are carried out in strict accordance with procedures.

ACTIVITIES 
 
As part of your missions, you will be responsible for the following:

General

• Issue clearance certificate/permit to work/verification of work methodology and associated risk assessment of contractors prior to start of all work in the depot.
• Regularly inspect depot for early detection of faults and/or breakdown and to identify preventive measures.
• Conduct regular inspections/or test of depot safety equipment. / Perform planned IGP and ITPM.
• Prepare daily operation documents and monthly reporting (KPI etc).
• Ensure proper functioning of the depot Firefighting system.
• Ensure that documents are properly filed and participate in maintaining up-to date the depot procedures.
• Attend meetings ( operation, Health & Safety, tanker reception).
• Prepare roster for team / Ready to work during odd hours and on a shift basis / compile Overtime.
• Coordinate and participate with the project team to ensure that upgrading of depot installations are carried out within the set delays, standards and safety requirements.
• Performs drills and lead team on field.
• Apply JIG/EI 1530 exigencies when manipulation Jet A1.
• Participate in Audits / Provide assistance in putting in place recommendations and ensuring that the latter are closed within the set time delay.
• Oversee operatives workload and attendance with respect to depot daily operations.
• Participate in critical task analysis.

Production

• Follow and optimize daily production rate in depots with respect to target.
• Ensure loading of trucks and planned production accordingly.
• Follow up of productions consumables including LPG cylinder Racks.
• Follow on cylinder re-validation.

Terminal

• Perform opening & closing of depot as per existing procedures.
• Update stock management system and ensure that loss and gain are within tolerances - investigate where required.
• Regularly check on depot to ensure smooth operation.
• Ensure that product quality and controls are as per the set parameters and formalized.
• Ensure that all equipment ( measuring, safety & operational) are tested and in good working condition.

Bunkering & Tanker Receipts

• Perform and follow that bunkering and tanker reception activities are carried out as per existing procedures.
• Perform planning of personnel to ensure 24 hour operation of depot during bunkering or tanker reception.
• To liaise with contractor or third party bunkering operators so as to ensure that bunkering or tanker receipt are carried out as per planning.
• To communicate with third parties to ensure that product transfer is done as per procedure.
• Ensure that all documents regarding product movement are filled and filed appropriately.
• Ensure that bulk meters are in good operating condition.
• Ensure that product transfer (outgoing and incoming) calculations with respect to volume, temperature etc are carried out accurately so as to prevent any loss of product during stock computation.
• Perform any other cognate duties as instructed by the Depot Manager.
