The Lux Collective is hiring for the position of DEMI CHEFS DE PARTIE for our new outlet at Azuri.
The incumbent will be responsible to:
- Actively participate in the setting-up and preparation of food items.
- Ensure high standards of quality service are delivered to Guests at all times.
- Actively support hygiene and HACCP practices.
- Follow the brand’s standards food specifications with high level of presentation of dishes.
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least School Certificate in Food Production or equivalent qualifications.
- National Certificate level 3 in Food Production or equivalent qualifications.
- Formal culinary training from a recognised institution or recognised apprenticeship will be a definite advantage.
PREVIOUS PERFORMANCE
- A minimum of 5 years of working experience preferably in the hospitality industry.
- A minimum of 3 years of working experience in the position as Demi Chef de Partie in a 5 star resort or similar position.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- High levels of integrity.
- Passionate about service.
- Passionate culinarian with a great sense of presentation.
- Creative and innovative.
- Strong ability to work as a team player.
- Good communication skills in both English and French languages.
- Valid Food Handlers’ Certificate.
- Willingness to work during odd hours, weekends and public holidays.
- A clean certificate of character is a must.
