Beachcomber Catering is looking for a passionate and talented Demi-Chef de Partie – Pastry to join our dynamic pasty brigade. Interested candidates are invited to send their application (CV + motivation letter) to the P&C Department at Beachcomber Catering on: sjeetoo@beachcomber.com

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Chef de Partie in the preparation and presentation of pastries, desserts, and baked goods
  • Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation standards are met at all times
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in line with HACCP requirements
  • Monitor stock levels and assist in ordering supplies
  • Support the team during service and contribute to smooth pasry operations
  • Follow recipes and portion control guidelines strictly

Profile & Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar role within a hotel or catering environment
  • Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, baking, and dessert presentation
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Good team spirit and communication skills
  • Flexible with working hours, including weekends and public holidays
  • Relevant culinary qualification will be an advantage
